Principal

Helen is a well-regarded, leading Family Law Solicitor whose knowledge of the industry coupled with her passion for service are second to none. With 20 years’ experience under her belt she is one of the most sought after and prominent Family Lawyers in the region. Helen previously ran a successful Family Law department for a large Law firm before setting up her own practice in Whickham and since expanding into Cramlington.

Laura Fenwick

Associate and Head of Whickham Branch

Laura is an experienced Paralegal who has trained underneath Helen Holmes since joining the firm. Laura has experience working in all aspects of family law including divorce, finances, children and domestic abuse and also has a particular interest in Wills and Probate. Laura supports Helen Holmes in extremely complex cases and understands that it can be stressful and upsetting to seek advice from a solicitor and to embark in legal proceedings and her objective is to put the client at ease and support them during their time as a client at Holmes Family Law Laura graduated from Northumbria University in 2016 gaining a First Class Honours in English Literature before joining the team in January 2017. She is currently studying under ClLEx Law School to become a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in both Family Law and Law of Wills and Succession.
